Christina Vatti
Christina was born in Nicosia. Her interest in dance started at the age of four when she enrolled for RAD ballet and ISTD modern Theatre. Through her years of training, she also studied other styles of dance but trained in classical ballet at a more professional level.
Christina was also accepted into the ‘Nicosia Youth Ballet’ where she was trained and danced in their professional performances where she later returned for a teacher’s position in 2017.
Christina studied at the Royal Academy of Dance in London, gaining her BA(Hons) Ballet Education Degree and LRAD (Licentiate of RAD). During these courses Christina had the opportunity to teach students of various age groups in dance schools in London. Included in the 3 year degree course was the study of contemporary dance and choreography with emphasis on Rudolf Laban and Antony Tudor.
Christina also succeeded in obtaining the Diploma in Dance Education (DDE) for the ISTD Modern Theatre syllabi and qualified in Progressing Ballet Technique.
